Southwark Cathedral, 1 of 3 cathedrals in London, the others being St Pauls and Westminster. A christian place of worship for over 1000 years. Present building dates between 1220-1420. Earliest reference of the site was in the doomsday book of 1086. Shakespears brother Edmund is buried here. John Harvard, a clergyman who helped found Harvard Uni. was baptised here in 1607.
